Smile Another question about Party performance.

(Edit) In party performance, can a single scroll control the others' tempo?

According to this lovely guide by Inri from Mabinogi World, Mabinogi Generations, party performance comes out in G6S1. However, that guide is based on other versions of Mabi so who knows when it will be implemented in NA. It's definitely not available now and G6 is quite a long ways away, but it could be implemented earlier.

Why don't you create party scores now anyways? You can't play them in game but at least they'll be ready to use.

Thanks for the info... (depressed)
Anyways, for your question, here are the 3 reasons:
1. I'm too lazy for it right now.
2. I don't want to make scrolls that no one would ever use (that's why I want people to request first).
3. If I feel like it, it should take me about 60 minutes (maybe 90) to convert, select instruments, divide into parts and edit a single melody, so no need to hurry. =)

Just wanted to clue in that the Tollinar took that guide from a person in ONrpg who took it from Inri in Mabinogiworld.

Proper credit must be given

Anyways, to answer the question itself, you must make TWO scrolls if you want two people to play. Each scroll will be their own parts.

You have to use an action called "combo playing" which actually allows the music to start your play at the same time of your partner.

The tempo? Hopefully you've written both music scores to match one another.

Ummm... I'm don't think it really answered my question.
Let me ask it differently:
Let's say I have a song with fast parts and slow parts.
Instead of writing everytime the tempo, can I control all of the tracks' tempo with just writing the tempo in a single one?
It works that way on 3mle.
Like, I have a mandolin and a ukulele. only in the ukulele I type tempo. Will it effect the mandolin while in party performance? (I don't write any tempo at the mandolin part)

Technically it was answered depending on how you read this.

Anyhow, I've never done party performances before, but it'd make sense if the scrolls were treated as individual ones just being played at the same time.
3MLE just lets you set one tempo to make things simpler. Having relative varying tempos is just a way to optimize a part.

Even if I'm wrong about this for some reason, score scrolls are cheap.

In party performance, it is treated as 2 different scrolls being played together. You need your own tempo for each one.

My bad. Fixing that now. I'm also looking forwards to party performance and other music related features, but it's probably going to take a year or two.
