So for me,
good potion making=mana potions
mana potions=Mp
Mp=Magic
Magic=easy dungeon runs
easy dungeon runs=good $

The problem is, this whole chain falls apart because I suck at making mana potions.
I'm stuck at Rank D and I'm starting to think that the people who programmed this game don't want people to get good at potoin making... Anyway, my question is, what's the fastest way to get potion making up at my level? I really need better % rates for making potions. I was thinking making wound potions would be the best thing to train on making, but since it requires so many ingredients, I never have the chance to make any. Any tips from someone who's gone past rank D?

I just got rank C. I managed to get to 87 points over a period of 2 months, collecting my own herbs from dungeon runs i did, and recently with herb pig.

Finally i got fed up with it and started offering ridiculous amounts of gold for herbs to make wound pots.

There's no other way to rank it than wound pots. You can't get to 100 points without it. Infact i completed the requirment for wound pots and still had to make hp+mp pots to rank up.

I'm now on rank C and waiting for monday.

Potion making is notorious for being a difficult skill to level, so the honest answer is, there is no really quick way to do rank D training. And don't hold your breath on getting rank B... rank C has the same goals as D, just rehashed.

The key is going to be getting storage space available to you. Lots and lots of storage space. Stockpile herbs and wait until Monday. Watch the weather for category 7-9 storms or thunderstorms. And above all, try to party with fellow potion makers. This will ensure that your hard-won herbs do not go to waste [as much].

As for getting the goals completed, wound healers will give you the fastest xp, but that necessitates that you have a significant amount of inventory space. No matter what you focus on, however, you will have to do a minimum of half of the total requirement of wound healers for rank D in order to break 100 skill proficiency. There's simply no way around it.

If you have the cash and time to spend with an herb pig, I highly recommend using one to supplement the herbs you get from dungeons. As an added bonus, you can use the hpmp30s you create for potion making xp to replenish its mp supply and get more herbs. And always take some time to browse player shops for deals and/or reasonable prices for stacks of herbs.

...wow the programmers really do hate potion makers. Well, I have an herb pig and since I have a scary large supply of gold herbs, I guess it's time to start stockpiling my herbs. Also my secret provider who sells me mana, bloody, and sunlight herbs for 100g each should be a good supply to get me there as quick as possible. Thanks for all the help, but my dream of reaching R9 potion making has just been shattered. Oh well, I'll just have to keep at it and hope I get there over the next few months lol! Aww... Don't give up. I know what it's like to grind like crazy for a level you want and I've found the best way for me to do it is to slowly chip away at it, getting exp as it comes. I hate to paraphrase someone else's quote but, "Rome wasn't built in a day." The same applies for games as good players don't become good over night.

I'm content with rank F.
I get all the mana pots I want, 50% success rate, better with production mastery and my friend in the party (with rain too, which happens a lot more now).

im stuck at rank 9...
i need to burn off my gold herbs.....
but yes it took me from G1S1 to G2S2 to get to Rank A, and Rank A..... is utter hell
