I don't get it...
I see people with all these cool clothes and armor, but where do they get it? I have no idea how they manage to get a hold of all those armors/clothing, with enchants, ego and all that. Is every "High level" in Mabi is rich and just buy the crap out of that stuff, or do they make it?
I don't know, but I want that stuff too! I'm sick of tired of wearing a pink robe and nothing else.
Do they just upgrade life skills after they're done with they're combat stuff/magic/range skills?

You can dye it.
Its rare for "awesome" colors to appear in stores, but when they see it, they buy it for the sake of selling it.

well, people get good $ for doing dungeons. Rabbie is a good source of income, and can give you good $ in one run. Many clothes are just bought and some can only be made, but I'm pretty sure most of the people are wearing just bought stuff. (except for like Dragon crests and those feather hats...) I made some good cash before I rebirthed for my first time and I wasn't really powerful. I got myself a muffler robe, and a wis soldier suit. of course I had to dye them, but really, you don't need to be one of the "powerful" people to get good stuff. It helps out though...

Well
There are people who hunt fomors scrolls for a living, and solo dungeons
Like I tend to do Ciar while hunting for Fomor Scrolls(Mimic scrolls preferably)
Or there are people who have "Extra Storage" and "Advanced Play" service, and sell the items they earn through the service
I've done that once and earned a 100k in a few days >

I understand how to make the money, its just that it doesn't make sense sometimes how such things are in demand.
Lets just say...
I go get a random heavy armor item and equip it, but it won't be different than wearing my silly robe, unless I enchant it with all these "god killing" enchants and dye it black, then its worth something to me in battle and in the Marketplace.
I got interested in these items because I always see players with matching clothing; in color, enchanted, good enchants, a kite shield, a ego, and another stronger enchanted weapon for back up. I always stare at them and I look at my stupid crappy character and the only thing good I can think of him, is his Windmill rank, at least. I thought about raising Blacksmith/refine or tailoring/weaving and enchant a couple times, just so I could make my own armor like that, but it would just be a waste of money.
Doing dungeons like Rabbie and Runda Normal and Ciar Basic(The only three that I do run)and It feels like an endless cycle of formor scrolls and wasting 1/3 of those rewards on potions and repairs.
*sigh*.
Another reason I started G1; Seems like a stupid idea if I'm expecting stuff like that. I wanted to go to TNN and Albey so I can kill Gremlins and Gargoyles for Pages and Wanted items.
I aplogize for the long post, but I just want to look forward to something other than skills. Having good skills may seem nice, but I'll probably weaker without all that stuff

…yea, what might as well be the majority of people in our version of Mabinogi seem to be stupid like that. i wouldn't really know how different it might be in others, if at all, but there was something about someone from a different version kinda making fun of our lack of colors or whatever, something i've similarly mentioned to people i know, random people, etc., more times than i can probably remember and probably should have, up to the point to where it'd probably get annoying enough to kill someone for if it was just to one person XD
