What happens when the Pet summon time runs down to zero?

You won't be able to summon it for the rest of the (real-life) day. You'll have to wait until (6 or 7 am? or midnight) for the Summon Time to be reset.

Reset time is 7AM PT, just like for services, etc.

By the way, if you don't want to open your pet window + lag every time you want to check the summon time remaining, say "PETNAME!" (don't forget the exclamation point) which works exactly like the command "come!" except it shows on-screen status of your pet as well.
