They both seem to be broke...anything made turns food wasted...baking works, checking mix and kneading now

from what people are saying here and in other threads there a mix up in what is what

Boiling seem to be simmering and the other way around...need to check this out again to be sure.


Edit: yup just tested with boiled egg...using simmer(fire)
need to see if any of the drinks are fix in...not sure if this is a fix of names or something but now its confusing the heck out of me.

Nope, the people who made the patch didnt correct the problem, they only made it worse. because now, people are confused on which cooknig method to use, and if they figure out which is which SIMMERING STILL DOESNT WORK. it's still the same as it was. the animation starts then cooking doesnt work and you lose your ingredients.

Edit3: simmering dishes like stew steamed rice cheese fondue can still be made just under boling...all boiling dishes are made under simmering...simmering drinks still dont work

No the books were mixed up not the skill. If you read this section more you would see Ixie and i discuss it alot.

And I hate to say it, but the ppl on Nexon forums aint to bright.

yea books were mix up but the patch has done something to the boiling and simmering skills, see when I try to make boiled egg under boiling I got food wasted, and when I did steamed corn was the same, and when I try to do cheese fondue under the simmering got the wasted food, but if you make those dishes under say corn in simmer and fondue under boiled they work.

then the drinks like the teas still not being made tested it using with the easy drink steamed milk and all I got was the bottles gone and no product.

many of us are abit confused on this.

Hello Mabinogians!



As some of you may have noticed, during the most recent update the cooking methods on Cooking Skill for boiling and simmering became reversed. So in order to use the boiling method the user should select the simmering method, and to use the simmering method select boiling.



All other texts such as Cooking Skill Information and Training methods do not match the cooking methods at the moment. Changes will be applied on next upcoming patch.



Also, keep in mind that any foods not included on current generation now will produce food waste upon creation. Addition of more food recipes will be noted on our update list.
