Inuri, I'd like to ask your permission to put this on the Wiki, may I? Also your cooking guide. I'd like the option to edit them if needed too.
Tireku if you like this, let me send you all the information I have compiled from the game so far. I have an in-depth guide for each of the different skills as well as pictures to go with all the info...
Inu, you make me sad >.< You beat me to the punch on my FAVORITE skill...sadness...oh well, I'm going to make my guide to cooking anyways, lol...

Sorry. :P
But, I could easily steal stuff of MabinogiWorld wiki, pictures and all, but I decided to rewrite it. I admit to using MabiWorld's wiki ONLY for beverages, specifically for alcohol.
well now im inspired to do cookin but, where do we get all those various materials? and 80% blah and 20% blah, chop the stuff im thinking?
just wana know
Most of the food can be purchased at grocery stores or resturaunts. That 80%, 20% stuff just means how much of what is in the meal. In this case, the meal is 8 parts of A, 2 parts of B, or for every 8 parts of A, add 2 parts of B. In some cases you have room for more, so you have to get good with adding just the right amount of what.
And banana, mixing incorrect amounts of food leads to two outcomes- a lower star rank, or a burnt dish which is useless. Cook wisely!

Let's put this post simpler:
It'll be a list of ingredients you added, and you hold the ADD button under each. The bar fills up a %, and then you ADD another ingredient to fill up the needed %. When the bar is 100% Full, press start.

Well, if a dish was made with, say, 70% Carrots and 30% Mayo, the dish you make would be a horrid rank, about 2 or 1 Stars. 5 Stars come from EXACT rank. It's getting easier. However, if the carrots and mayo don't fit into any dish, you'll get a mess dish you can't eat.

Inuri, the problem with this is some ingredients increase the bar faster than others. If you just count off 80 clicks of one add, you might not have enough left for the other 20 clicks. I've tried this, and the dish phailed (with a ph D: ) I suggest counting off in little bits because you get closer to a desired meal.
Unless I missed something. The way you suggest it, you can just hold down the button until a little percent shows up and shows you how much you're adding in. I thought we had to click the button repeatedly until you fill the bar up. I've made some great 5 star dishes my way, so maybe I just misread. 0.o
