See, I did about 50 ciar beginner runs and was unable to find a ciar basic pass for the G1 quest.

Someone was selling a ciar basic pass, I bought it, got in, and found myself a ciar basic pass. I don't know how this works since I've never done a ciar basic before.

I finally start my G1 ciar basic dungeon run ^_______^ ! I was sooo excited, I packed a lot of bandages and potions so that I would last the whole time. After about 3 hours, I got to the boss door. I'm not very good at the game yet; combat is really hard for me and I'm trying to focus on magic.

I kill all of the metal skeleton in about 30 min-1 hr since I pulled them out one by one; no problem. I get OHKO-ed by golem. I restart at statue and try again and again. A good hour passes and I got him down to about 1/8th of his hp. I was sure that he was going to die and............


I GET DISCONNECTED.

The end ;_; Im so upset about it; I know it's just a game, but I really do hate dungeons. Ive never seen math or rabbie. I hate hate hate dungeons and fighting. But I really like the G1 storyline and ..I'm emo now and Im afraid of doing it again since I'll just disconnect again. Wahh, sorry for whining Dx!

I think it's totally understandable :\ *gives you a cookie* Soloing Ciar Basic can be hard and time consuming. Anyway, at least you have an idea of what will show up in the dungeon if you try again. My friend had that happen to him, he just killed the golem and was running to the door and...disconnect >.> He hasn't ever gone in again. So, try going into Ciar Basic at night, it rarely disconnects people. That's all I can think of, hope it helps :3

Well...you wouldn't have gotten Goro's ring anyways. To fulfil the quest, you have to drop the pass. That happened to me once ;_;

It happened at around 10 pm grr, but it's a school night haha. I guess Ill try again some other day. Oh oh, I did drop my own pass ^.^ I wasn't sure if I was spose to. As soon as I found another basic pass from the dungeon, I changed channels and re-entered with my own pass =D !

I didn't want to do the wholllee dungeon, and find out at the end that I don't get the ring because I didn't drop the pass. In the end I didn't get it anyway due to disconnection issue X_X! how ironic Q_Q

hmm, all i have to say is work on ur methods of killing, cause killed 6 skeletons shouldnt take that long solo o.o (i think there was 6)

and already said above.. must drop own pass ^_^ xD

Haha yeah, I gained a ton of exp since I was level 20 when I went in XD ! I gained like 3 levels x) ~! I guess it wasn't so bad since I got a ton of exp *_*

Yeah. Like he said.

I suggest that you work on your combat skills a little more by doing beginner or normal runs (with a party). In reality, any player with enough combat knowledge can succeed in killing practically any monster.

With that said, the first part of G1 is easy for less experienced people due to the luxury of Statues and Nao Revivals. One you get to Another World, its a completely different story as there are No Stats and No Nao.

Its not as difficult as it sounds though if you have a good party and they know what they're doing.
