Exclamation I Need A Job. D:

.___. I'm so broke right now it's not even funny.

Kekeke so there's this REALLY CUTE LV bag that I want and and and I has no monies to buy it. ;___;

I quit my last job last December because it was waaay too far away from home and it was yucky. So for a while I survived off my teeny tiny savings account but now, I just checked my bank accound and guess what the balance was?

$5.81.

;_______________________;

A month ago that number had 4 digits (not including the digits behind the decimal).

I need a job.

Aww Peppy, well since summer is approaching soon this is the perfect time to inquire about summer part-time jobs. Malls are a good place to job-hunt...go to the nearest one to you, walk into every store that interests you, and ask for an application. Taking a friend makes it less boring, too, hehe. But yeah since you have work experience and you're cheerful, I'm sure it won't be a problem for you. ^_^

Yay! job hunting! /wrists ;D!

Anyways, If you can take it. I'd recommend host/est. then a waiter. It's what I do. and who wouldea thunk that flirting with 90 year olds, as gross as it is, would net me a nice even 40% tip? :d
Main downside of my job is well, one. if I get a dumb host at night. <_____<. Two, if I get drunkards. We are a four star digs. It's just not right.

If you want something with med pay, and easy hours/job overall, I'd recommend small retail stores. Do try and stay away from things like JC pennys and whatnot. But those mom and pop stores are pretty nice.

Other than that. I have no idea what your work exp is. D;

I agree with Ninjacowboy on mom and pop stores. They usually offer better pay than the bigger retail stores and are very flexible with hours most of the time. Plus the money the store makes stays in the community and helps support the local economy. You could also check the local job service agency if you have one available, they usually have a plethora of jobs listed for the area and you can pretty much pick and choose the ones you think you will like the best without having to go all over the place. I would avoid gas stations at all costs since the customers can be quite verbally abusive on a regular basis. If there is a pet store in the area I would say thats a definite win. *pets his kitty*

Forget public sector.
The real money and more acceptable hours are in private sector jobs.

It might be difficult to get to... but I'd suggest doing what you can to get an office job. And yes, it might be boring, but the pay can be good.

I work as a client data assistant at a corporate law firm in Moorgate, London.... and though I tend to get easily bored at work, the work itself isn't bad and I get paid well for it.... so no probs there.

Hmmm, there's been a job listing for waitresses at this internet cafe near me. I think I might try that out, especially since I'm a huge nerd.

@Ninjacowboy: I used to waitress at this lounge in my city, but since I'm a minor I couldn't serve alcohol. But I do agree, tips are most definately ftw.

@SotiCoto: ;__; I would go for private sector except that I'm still in high school so the chance of me scoring any type of job like that is basically zero unless I get really good references. Also, as with school, daytime hours are a no-no for me. ;___; WHICH STINKS BECAUSE I REALLY WANT THAT LV. ;___;

Anyways, thanks for the support everyone, I will try my best to make money for my LV quest! >.<;; (I should get at LEAST 10,000EXP for this).
