This particular rant came into play when this specific person, let's say...Troll, ksed me when I said not to. Well, there were many Trolls, but a big one emerged out of them all. He had died from the Golem, like many others who ksed me. This make Troll mad, so he comes and ks me the whole time while I used a specific technique.
Here's the details of it:
1) Lure Golem
2) Get it near tent or that stair area in Ceo
3) Enter it with Golem very close
4) Run out
5)Hit the golem doing N+1 method minus the last hit (knockback).
6) Run back to hideout
7) Repeat
NOTE: Doing so will reset the true person who did the most damage.

Well, this Troll was pissed as hell because of that one death blamed on me, or he was taking advantage of what I was doing (read the NOTE). Well, anyways...Troll comes up with an explanation saying that I was killing people. Looking around, there was basically no one, but him and more ksers which I repeatedly tell to not KS.

Blah blah blah...fight goes on...

Now...the area is CLEAR. I'm doing to the last 30 or so HP on the Golem and then Troll pops up again ksing me. RAGE.

More fight goes on, but here is where it pisses me off...
He calls my method a noob way. I sort of agree, but it freaking works with little to no damage. This is especially great for someone who has not used a majority of their AP on Melee skills. Troll says, "I can do 800 with crit/smash, 400 with windmill" , "I finish Golem in 3 hit easy", and much more arrogant/ignorant things. Brag much? So he concludes...I should do Firecounter. (Incoming Sarcasm)Of course! Because it works for him....it must work for me. Wow, it must work wonders for everyone who has rank F on a majority of their melee skills.

Anyways, then I called him an actual troll in the game and Troll tries to be smart and runs away saying something about ET.

Summary:

Yes...Melee skills are great for those who rank them, but suggesting someone with low ranked ones to kill a Golem with Firecounter (which does not 100% work all the time; especially with lag) or any method that requires some high rank to do well...that's just damn retarded. Also, bragging about it doesn't help.

I think that method is pretty smart IMHO. However, luring the golem to a hideout that many people going in and out from is pretty selfish considering that they will get injured/die because of your method. If it was a camp you set up or something like that, you have the right to tell everyone in the tent to gtfo or die since you're the one who made it.

And arrogant people like that troll deserves to get stepped on by a golem anyday >:[

The stairway entrance where I was doing that technique was pretty empty at that time. Everyone was either deep in the middle of the island or far east in the corner because the moongates were opened and Golems were getting dominated in the front lines of the spawning ground so they're pretty far back. It was after when I started doing this tactic that many others came to watch me. Well...durr.....what happens when you stand next to a Golem that has an aggro target disappear? It attacks you and ruins the method which causes me to die. Is it my fault they stand there? There were plenty of tents near the bridge and all the way in the corner of the island where there were plenty more Golems, but after I started doing this, people placing tents there. Also, it takes quite a while to lure the Golem all the way to that location and it's bound to get ks'd along the way.

Either people don't listen, they're trolling with other's emotions with unneeded drama, or the chat system is not noticeable because they will KS even if you tell them not to.

Well it is an online game. You can't really do much about how these kids are acting, and to tell you the truth, if he starts bragging about doing 800 dmg whatever then he's obviously lying. And it sounds like he enjoys looking for fights.

A more mature player would stay away from any type of conflict and just play the game, like you were doing, minding your own business. Besides if that fool was able to be killed by that golem, then he's in no way a pro.

Best thing we can really do is ignore these people anyway. A game loses its luster if all you ever do is troll people. We know this, yet he doesn't seem to care about it if he thinks his pride is on the line of every meaningless fight.

Wow, Ksers are in every game. A good idea btw concerning the tent and run. lol I personally try to keep from Ks anyone but I guess I could see someone with a low sense of justice doing it. Sad some people are like that but remember, there are some who are jerks in games just to take out frustration from their lives. Therefore, no matter what you do, some people will just ks and just be general pains in the butt. Best to just ignore them and hope they go away i guess. XP
