I was wondering if there was a way to restrict thread viewing to forum members only, or if this is a mod-only application. If someone could let me know that'd be great. Thanks!

Members can't do it. I'm not sure whether mods can do it. I haven't tried yet. ^^;

Maybe other mods or Itchy can clarify you better on this. To get more attention that it deserves, I'll move this to the Tip Box for you.

The only "restriction for view" we can do is to delete a thread, which can only be opened by other mods.

We can also post in the mod forums, which also, can only be seen by other mods.

I don't know any forum software that has a per-thread/topic view permission. The best you can do with vbulletin is to allow only registered members to see a particular forum, and post in there. Though for a site like this one, that can be a problem since i'm sure most of the views come from guests who just want to get some info and then get out.
