A Mabiguru guild??
Has anyone thought to create an official Mabiguru guild? I think that would be a wonderful idea and a great way to create in-game harmony and friendships...also a great way to promote the site!

We most likely will make one. As you said, it's a great way to promote friendship and promoting the site.

Too bad the limit of members is 5 when you start out.
I believe if all members enterable entered, logged in EVERY DAY, contributed to guild points EVERY DAY, and give up a good chunk of their money EVERY DAY, it would take... over half a year before you can have more than 50 members.
In fact, it'll be a good two months before you get that 20 member limit removed. I suggest if a guild was going to be made based on the entire forum itself, the most contributing members should start out and applications should be made.
But thats just a suggestion. No need to listen to me.

good lord it seems like that could take quite a while...i wonder if there's a way we could make sister guilds, like Mabiguru Orchestra as one, and Mabiguru Farmers for another...
we could have lots of little mini Mabiguru guilds out there...I'LL START THE SPAZ GUILD!! lol...we would be the group running around headbutting people in teh stomachs...

Hmm. Would getting stuff from the cash shop help remedy this any? If it would, I'd be happy to donate some NXcash to the cause.

No it wont. You need NX cash to run the guild.
However, guild expansions are based purely on the members logging in each day and putting in guild points. And millions and millions of gold. MILLIONS.

Kinda like divisions. Military usually have them to keep track of multiple groups of players specified in different fields. It'll be really cool.

I like the idea of several sister guilds, is actually expensive (In real life money) to set a guild up, or is it mainly game based money?

I don't know about KR guilds, but for JP guilds the info is as the following:
Guild Level------Points needed------Gold needed------Contents
Default------nothing------nothing------up to 5 members
Basic------100 GP------2,000 gold------up to 10 members
Advance------2,000 GP------4,000 gold--------up to 20 members
Great------7,000 GP------50,000 gold-------up to 50 members
Grand------20,000 GP------100,000 Gold------up to 250 members
You can set your guild stone starting advance level.
Each member gains 1GP per 6hrs of in-game time, which is 9mins of real time.
2,000 GP with 10 active members will only take 18,000 minutes total, 1,800 minutes each member, which is 30hrs of playing time. If you leave your computer on overnight that's less than 2 days.
Even for the Grand (highest) level, with 50 members it should only take 60hrs of playing time per member, which is under 3 days.
If everyone's active even just for 6hrs a day (you can AFK), it still shouldn't take months to reach the max 250 members level. Also, 100,000 gold among 50 members is 2,000 gold each. Very doable and realistic, even for beginners.
As for maintaining a guild, the only requirement is that the guild leader pays for the extra storage fantasy life service every month, which will probably end up around $5 / month here. Even if you don't pay, the guild will not disappear and you can still guild chat, except you can't recruit more members or use other guild functions such as access the communal bank.
